Abe G. Salen has more than a decade of experience handling complex real estate, business, and construction-related legal matters throughout the State of California. Specifically, Mr. Salen has been engaged to advise with the transactional requirements during the sale or purchase of property, having represented sellers, buyers, and agents/brokers in property disputes. Mr. Salen has extensive knowledge of resolving issues involving landlord/tenant matters, including representing clients with drafting leases, unlawful detainers, commercial leases, property management, and breach of lease disputes.

Mr. Salen has assisted clientele in the start-up of various business entities, including Partnerships, Limited Liability Companies (LLC's), Small Corporations, S Corporations, C Corporations, Limited Partnerships, Limited Family Partnerships, and Professional Corporations. Once formed, Mr. Salen continues to assist business clientele in the day-to-day activities required to continue the growth of the business. From employment issues, operational concerns, contracts, vendor relations, customer disputes, and more, Mr. Salen's expertise eases his business clientele's fears of transacting business in today's complex environment.

Unfortunately, disputes often remain unresolved, requiring court interaction. Mr. Salen has represented clients in courts located throughout Southern, Central, and Northern California, both federal court and state court, and has participated in multiple jury and non-jury trials through verdict with good success. Mr. Salen has also represented clientele in binding and non-binding arbitration, and has participated in a multitude of mediations and court-ordered settlement conferences in an effort to resolve disputes prior to trial.

Mr. Salen has represented several different types of construction entities in all aspects of construction law, including contract negotiation, insurance coverage analysis, stop notices, mechanic's liens, and, particularly, construction defect litigatigation.
